Following two tight encounters on Tuesday night, the final two fixtures in the opening round of the Bradys Skoda sponsored Regional Football Championship take place this evening (Wednesday) with the games taking place in Donore and Dunganny respectively.
The Group A fixture sees Ard Braccan travel to Donore where Bru na Boinne provide the opposition. Paul Garrigan is in charge of Ard Braccan who feature players from Cortown, Dunderry, Navan O’Mahonys and St. Ultan’s while Niall Ronan pulls on the Bainisteoir bib for the home side and they will feature players from Duleek-Bellewstown, St. Mary’s, St. Patrick’s & St. Vincent’s.
There is a change of venue for Moyfenragh and Lough Crew in Group B with the game now taking place in Dunganny rather than Longwood as originally scheduled. Moyfenragh are managed by Tom Hanley and they have a strong panel named with players from Ballivor, Boardsmill, Clann na nGael, Clonard and Longwood. Their opposition will fancy their chances of winning the competition and Davy Nelson can call upon players this evening from Ballinlough, Moylagh, Oldcastle & St. Brigid’s.
