Two changes to panel for U-20’s

Following on from last week’s opening round victory over Carlow, Cathal Ó Bric and his management team have opted to keep the faith with the same starting XV for this evening’s Round 2 game against Laois but have made a pair of alterations to the replacements bench.

Coming in among the replacements are 2025 Minor Charlie Gallagher and Liam Jennings who lined out at left corner forward in the Leinster U-20 Final last year with Conor McEntee and Michael Hoey dropping out of the match day panel.

Finn Moore who lined out in goals for Rathkenny in last year’s Fairyhouse Steel SFC will continue between the uprights and he will once more have Cillian Yore, Sam Jordan and Shane Callaghan in front of him in the full back line.

Colin Scanlon anchors the defensive effort at centre back and the Seneschalstown man will be flanked by Cormac Smith and Kyle O’Brien in the wing back berths.

Lining out together at midfield are the team captain Michael McIvor and Paul Hennessey.

St. Peter’s Dunboyne provide two of the half forward line as Eoin McCrudden is at right half forward and John Harkin at centre forward and they are joined by Stephen Cahill who registered four points a week ago.

Completing the team line-up in the inside forward line are Ben Corkery, Cian Commons and Cormac O’Donoghue.
