Coiste na Mí C.L.G. wish to announce the addition of Trevor Giles to the backroom team of the Senior Football panel for 2024. Trevor will take up the role as coach within the backroom team.

 

Twice an All-Ireland winner (1996 & 1999), Trevor also won three Leinster Senior Football Championships and 1 National Football League during his playing days with Meath.

 

He was a two-time Footballer of the Year (1996 & 1999) and won three All Stars.

 

Trevor was previously a selector with Meath for three years, 2013 – 2015 and was also a coach for the 2012 Championship.

 

 

Meath GAA Chairman John Kavanagh welcomed the appointment saying.

 

“Trevor is a welcome addition to the backroom team for the coming season.  One of the greatest footballers of his generation, this is a magnificent appointment for Meath GAA and will add greatly to our backroom team as we look to build upon the success of winning the Tailteann Cup.”
