Traffic Flow Changes Come Into Effect In Navan On Sunday January 28

Meath County Council are encouraging supporters attending Sunday afternoon’s Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 Round 2 game between Meath and Dublin in Páirc Tailteann to familiarise themselves with important changes to traffic flow which will come into effect in Navan at 16:00 on Sunday afternoon.

 

From 16.00 on Sunday, January 28th, changes will be made to the management of traffic on Bridge Street, Ludlow Street, and Market Square as part of the Navan Town Scheme, Navan 2030.

 

Navan Traffic Management Changes

 

Bridge Street / Ludlow Street

Traffic will be reversed on Bridge Street / Ludlow Street:

 

  • From Church Hill – left turn only onto Ludlow Street and no right turn onto Bridge Street
  • Entry to Bridge Street only via Academy Street and a left turn from Circular Road

 

Market Square

  • At Market Square (South) (Leon’s Café), the traffic flow will be reversed and will be used only by buses, taxis, and bicycles travelling from Ludlow Street. All traffic can continue to Watergate Street from Ludlow Street 
  • From Timmons Hill, at Market Square junction, the traffic will be right turn only (towards Watergate Street).
