Cúl Camps 2026 has officially come to a close, marking the end of another fantastic summer of fun, friendship and Gaelic Games for children across the country. This summer, more than 5,700 children took part in Cúl Camps, enjoying a packed programme of football and hurling activities under the guidance of 150 enthusiastic and dedicated coaches.
From developing skills and learning the games to making new friends and enjoying the outdoors, the camps once again provided a memorable experience for children of all abilities.
We were also delighted to welcome a number of Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) to the Cúl Camps team this year. Their contribution was hugely valued and helped support an inclusive environment where children could participate, enjoy themselves and get the most from their camp experience.
And, of course, a special thank you must go to the weatherman, who certainly played his part in helping us enjoy a brilliant summer of camps!
We would also like to sincerely thank all of the parents and guardians who supported Cúl Camps throughout the summer. We particularly appreciate the patience and understanding in relation to some of the gear delivery issues experienced during the camps. We are grateful for your support and cooperation.
Cúl Camps continues to be about much more than football and hurling. It is about giving children the opportunity to be active, build confidence, develop their skills, meet new people and create lasting summer memories in a welcoming and positive environment.
To all 5,700+ children, our coaches and supervisors, SNAs, parents, guardians, club volunteers and everyone else who helped make Cúl Camps 2026 such a success — thank you!
