A Safeguarding 2 Workshop will take place at Dunganny COE, on Wednesday May 3rd at 7.00pm and is 3 hours in duration. You are required to attend the full workshop in order to receive a certificate of attendance afterwards.
STEP 1. You must complete this step in advance of the workshop.
Firstly, you will need to register for a GAA Learning account if you do not already have one. Please see link to create an account https;//learning.gaa.ie This is in order for you to access the link below and to be sent your certificate afterwards. We ask that you do this prior to the date of the workshop.
Please note that the name you set your GAA Learning account up as is the name which will appear on your certificate. DO NOT set up an account in someone else’s name or use someone else’s account.
STEP 2. You Must Enrol Online in Advance of the Workshop.
The link to enrol on the workshop is https://learning.gaa.ie/lms/enrol/instances.php?id=14749 It will prompt you to sign into your GAA Learning account.
When you click on the link ending in 14749 (as above) you will be asked to enter an enrolment key which is the word safeguarding, all lower case.
Once signed in you will have the details for the workshop and you can download the Safeguarding Workbook and the Maintaining Good Practice and Behaviour Booklet.
Your Child Safeguarding tutor will be Tom Flynn.
Once you have attended the full duration of the Safeguarding 2 Workshop, you will receive your certificate by email a few days after the workshop has taken place.
Only those who have completed a Safeguarding 1 Workshop and have a Certificate to that effect can take part in the safeguarding 2 Course.
The cost of the Workshop is €10 payable on the night.
