Seoirse Bulfin has made two changes in personnel for Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 2A Round 2 game against Carlow from the side which started last weekends Round 1 victory over Kildare.

Coming into the starting XV for this Sunday’s game which throws in at 14:00 in Netwatch Cullen Park are Mickey Burke and Paul Kelly.  Burke comes in at right corner back in place of Jarlath Ennis whom he replaced early in last weeks game after Ennis picked up a knock while Kelly comes in at midfield where he will replace the joint captain for 2024, Sean Quigley.

Charlie Ennis who is the other joint captain for this season will once more line out in goals after his heroic shotstopping display last Sunday with Shane Whitty and Ronan Byrne continuing in the full back line.  Further forward, Niall McLarnon who was a late introduction to the starting team last week will continue in the half back line where he will renew his partnership with Simon Ennis and Ethan Devine.

Tom Shine will now be partnered by Paul Kelly at midfield and in the half forward line the personnel remain the same but positional switches abound.  Seanie Martin switches from left half forward to right half forward, James Toher from right half forward to centre forward and James Murray from centre forward to left half forward.  The full forward line remains unchanged from a week ago with Nicky Potterton, James Kelly & Padraig O’Hanrahan forming a potent inside line.
