Royal selection unveiled for Parnell Park examination

Ahead of this evening’s EirGrid Leinster U-20 Football Championship Group 3 Round 3 game against Dublin, Cathal Ó Bric has named an unchanged starting XV from that which took to the field of play a week ago against Westmeath.

Oisín McDermott continues between the uprights with Brian O’Halloran, Sean O’Hare and Séimí Byrne making up the full back line.  John O’Regan who will captain the side this evening, with Liam Kelly not in the starting line-up, anchors the defence at centre back and he will once more be flanked by Eamonn Armstrong and Killian Smyth.

Charlie O’Connor who along with his clubmate Conor Duke is one of two members of the starting side who didn’t play Minor for Meath, partners Jack Kinlough at centrefield.

The half forward line is once more made up of Rian Stafford, John Harkin and Duke while Jamie Murphy, Cian Commons and Rian McConnell form the full forward line.

Similar to a week ago, the replacements will be confirmed prior to the throw in.
