Following on from last weekend’s victory away to Roscommon in Round 2 of the Christy Ring Cup, Meath have shown faith in the same fifteen for this Sunday’s visit to Aughrim to take on Wicklow.

Coming into the matchday panel are Craig Gilsenan and Kevin Mulligan who take their place on the replacements bench instead of Padraig O’Hanrahan and Jack Walsh
Tom Shine who top scored with 0-12 in Ballyforan will once more be expected to be one of the leading lights in the attack and he will be joined there by two members of the U-20 side who lost out to Laois midweek as Darren O’Higgins and Mark Leavy form two thirds of the full forward line.
Lorcan Byrne leads the attack from centre forward, with Damien Healy at right half forward while Mikey Cole completes the attacking sextet at right corner forward.
Sean Geraghty will once more line out on the edge of the square at full back and he will be flanked by Jarlath Ennis and Lorcan O’Connor in the corner back berths, with Gavin King behind them in goals.
Daire Shine will captain the side from his by now regular centre back position, with Eoin Donegan at right half back and Anthony Healy who also lined out for the U-20’s midweek at left half back.
