There are four changes in personnel on the starting XV for Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 2B Final from the side which defeated Donegal in Round 3 on February 19.  Coming into the side from that match are Ger Dwane, Seán Geraghty, Jack Regan and Mikey Cole, replacing Mickey Burke, James Kelly, Pa Ryan and Nicky Potterton.

The unfamiliar surroundings of Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada plays host to Sunday’s final which doubles up as a promotion decider as Meath look to return to Division 2A at the first time of asking.

Joint captain Jack Regan came on as a half time substitute in that Round 3 game as he continued his return from injury and he will lead the attack on Sunday from centre forward in a much changed half forward line. Stephen Morris lined out in defence that day but he has since relocated to the half forward line and they will be joined in the half forward line by Mikey Cole from Trim.

Padraig O’Hanrahan has been unerring from placed balls to date this season and he forms part of a familiar full forward line along with Seán Quigley and Éamon Óg Ó Donnchadha.  At the back, James Toher anchors the defence at centre back and he is joined by Niall McLarnon who relocates to right half back from the half forward line while Simon Ennis completes the half back line.  Behind them, Ger Dwane, Damien Healy and Brendan McKeown form the full back line in front of joint captain Charlie Ennis who lines out between the uprights.
