Adam Kelly

I have played both football and hurling for my club Dunderry since I was 5 years old. I have won numerous medals underage with club, county and in secondary school.

I have experienced many highs and lows especially in the last 6 years at adult football and hurling. The standouts for me in my playing career so far are winning a Leinster Minor medal with my county in football, winning a Leinster hurling medal with my school and winning an intermediate hurling championship with my club in 2022. I am very proud to have represented my county both at football and hurling at many different ages.

I am currently the Participation Officer for Gaeil Colmcille, Wolfe Tones and Clann na nGael.

The role so far has been very enjoyable for me. Coaching was always an area in my life I wanted to explore with having a huge love for Gaelic games. I have previously coached in Cúl Camps and trained underage teams within my own club and always had a great love for it.

My favourite thing about the job is the enjoyment each child or person gets from coaching in school and or training.

I am very proud to be involved with the county coaching set up and cannot wait to develop further into this role in the coming months. I am looking forward to coaching new students and players and getting to know everyone and help develop each one of their skills and development.
