The group action in the Hurling Championships draw to a close today (Sunday) when Groups B of the Ted Murtagh Clothing & Footwear Senior Hurling Championship and JM Food Services Intermediate Hurling Championship take place, with the SHC games at 14:00 and the IHC fixtures at 12:00
Tickets for all games are available via: Club Hurling Championship Tickets
Kiltale and Ratoath are locked in a duel for top spot in the SHC with only score difference marginally splitting them presently. Will one of them make a decisive move today as Kiltale take on Longwood and Ratoath do battle with Killyon. Killyon, of course can mathematically top the group and would do so if Longwood topple Kiltale and Killyon defeat Ratoath. It’s all to play for. The other game in the group sees Blackhall Gaels and Na Fianna with only the final placings at the foot of the group at stake.
In the JM Food Services IHC, Boardsmill and Rathmolyon take top billing in Páirc Tailteann with Rathmolyon assured of a knockout spot buit cognicsant that a Boardsmill win would see them top the group and see The Village outfit consigned to the quarter finals. A Kildalkey win over Trim and a Rathmolyon win over Boardsmill would see Kilskyre/Moylagh, Boardsmill and Kildalkey all tied on six points and that would see the calculators out to see who progresses.
