Penultimate Round action heats up
Penultimate Round action heats up

With Storm Betty having blown over, the weather will hopefully be kinder for the teams in action on Saturday evening than it was for Gaeil Colmcille and Boardsmill in their JM Food Services Intermediate Hurling Championship game on Friday evening.  There are four games on the schedule this evening, on what is a relatively quiet programme of fixtures but nonetheless there are some very interesting fixtures down for decision.

The Ted Murtagh Clothing & Footwear SHC and JM Food Services IHC games are all ticket and are priced as follows.
  • General Admission – €10
  • Student/OAP – €5
  • Children U-16 accompanied by an adult attend for free.
Tickets for all the SHC & IHC games can be purchased via the Meath GAA App which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store

In the Ted Murtagh Clothing & Footwear SHC, can Killyon pick up a much needed win over Kiltale or will Kiltale continue their progression after a scintillating second half display two weeks ago against Na Fianna.  There are two Group B fixtures with potentially the most eye catching being that of Blackhall Gaels and Clann na nGael.  Blackhall were down and out early on against Kilmessan but came roaring back to win and face a Clann na nGael side coming off the back of defeat to Longwood.  The other fixture sees two sides who know a win would likely see them safe for another year as Dunderry and Longwood face off in Kildalkey.

The sole JM Food Services Intermediate Hurling game on the cards takes place in Rathmolyon and it sees Kildalkey and Drumree meet.
