Meath make the journey to the north-west on Saturday for the final round of the Christy Ring Cup against Donegal knowing that a victory could secure a place in the final in Croke Park on the June Bank Holiday weekend.
Kerry are assured of their spot in the final after winning all four of their games to date but who will face them is very much up for grabs as they take on second placed Derry and Meath who sit in third place on score difference take on Donegal who could overtake both sides on score difference depending on how results go.
Tickets for the game on Saturday which takes place in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny at 13:30 are available from selected SuperValu/Centra stores or via Meath vs Donegal Tickets
Meath have made one alteration in personnel from the panel that faced off against Derry in Trim last Saturday as Conor Cummins who impressed with the U-20’s comes in as the replacement goalkeeper for Philip O’Brien.
Other than that the management have gone with the same group of players as Gavin King holds down the goalkeeper position with Jarlath Ennis, Sean Geraghty and Lorcan O’Connor once more making up the full back line.
Eoin Donegan who had operated at midfield and in the half forward line earlier in the season lines out at right half back and he is joined in that line of defence by Anthony Healy and team captain Daire Shine who is at centre back.
Sean Coloe and Kyle Donnelly link up in the middle of the field, with Damien Healy and Tom Shine joining Lorcan Byrne in the half forward line.
The inside line of the attack sees Darren O’Higgins selected on the edge of the square and the Kilskyre/Moylagh youngster will be flanked by Mikey Cole and Mark Leavy in the corner forward berths.
