Minors unveil quarter-final selection

Ahead of this evening’s Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship Quarter-Final against Offaly, Trevor Giles and his management team have kept faith with the side that came away from Wicklow with a victory in last week’s Preliminary Quarter-Final.

Tickets for this evening’s game which throws in at 18:30 in Glenisk O’Connor Park are available by clicking the link: Meath vs Offaly Tickets

Having won their last two games, Meath are coming into this encounter full of confidence and with the settled nature of the team selection, they will be hoping consistency is one factor that will stand to them against Offaly.

Fresh from landing a hat trick in Aughrim, Milo Stafford will once more line out on the edge of the square at full forward and he will have Cormac Walsh and Tomás Dillon either side of him, with Conn Brennan at centre forward and Cormac McKenna and Alex Keane occupying the wing forward berths.

Cormac Fitzsimons once more lines out in goals and he has a settled full back line in front of him in the form of Ben Browne, Tomas Clarke and Niall Rogan.

Harry McGuirk captains the side from centre back and the O’Mahonys clubman will have Liam O’Donoghue and Niall Smyth either side of him while John Killoran and Tomas Proudfoot combine again at midfield.
