Minors make 1 change for last 4 encounter

Fresh from their impressive victory over Offaly last week in the Quarter-Final of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship, Trevor Giles and the management team of the Meath Minor Football panel have opted to make one change in personnel for the last 4 encounter this evening with Dublin.

Having netted a goal during the final quarter flourish against Offaly, Dara Loughran from Cortown comes into the side in place of Tomás Dillon, with Dillon being named amongst the replacements.

Apart from that switch, there is a familiar look to the selection for the boys in green as Cormac Fitzsimons continues in goals with Ben Browne, Tomás Clarke and Niall Rogan filling the full back line in front of him.

Harry McGuirk will once more captain the side from centre back and he will have Liam O’Donoghue who goaled last week and Niall Smyth either side of him in the half back line.

John Killoran who was an addition to the starting side in recent games will continue at midfield where he is partnered by Tomás Proudfoot.

Conn Brennan who captained St. Patrick’s Navan to the Leinster Junior title leads the attack from centre forward and he will be flanked by Cormac McKenna and Alex Keane in the half forward line.

Dara Loughran comes into the side at top of the left and the Cortown youngster is joined in the inside line of the attack by Cormac Walsh and Milo Stafford.
