Fresh from the impressive victory two weeks ago over Derry in Round 3 which kept alive aspirations of winning the Christy Ring Cup, Meath have made two alterations in personnel for the trip to Echelon Park in Aughrim on Saturday afternoon.

Coming into the side are David Murtagh and Cian Rogers who replace James Kelly and Mikey Cole respectively.

Among the replacements, Domhnall Rogers makes his return to the match day panel and he is joined by his clubmate and reigning Meath Hurler of the Year Padraig O’Hanrahan who comes into the match day panel for the first time in 2025. Another player returning to the panel tomorrow is Philip O’Brien.

Colm O’Riordan will once more line out in goals and he will have Kyle Donnelly, James Toher and the returning David Murtagh in front of him in the full back line.  Joey Cole switches back from midfield to wing back and he links up with Daire Shine and Darragh Kelly in the half back line.

There is an all Longwood look to the midfield pairing as Mickey Burke lines out in the middle of the field alongside his club mate Seán Coloe.

Kris Gorman lines out at centre forward and the Kilmessan star will be flanked by Damien Healy and the returning Rogers.

The inside forward line sees Lorcan Byrne, Jack Regan and joint captain Nicky Potterton lining out together.

Tickets for the game on Saturday in Echelon Park, Aughrim are available to purchase in selected Centra/Super Valu stores or via the link: Meath vs Wicklow Tickets
