Following on from the monumental win by the Meath minors in the Electric Ireland MFC All-Ireland Final, the people of Meath were treated to even more sublime football last week. The Meath Ladies showcased all of the classic attributes one would associate with great Meath football teams. The never say die attitude and the coolness on the ball shown were two positives in particular to note.
Meath G.A.A was happy to contribute to the training fund of the team and help with preparations by having Dunganny in top order.
“It has been a wonderful year for our loyal Meath Gaelic games supporters in many ways. Meath teams have picked up three major honours in winning the U20B All-Ireland Hurling Championship, Minor Football All-Ireland, and the Ladies Senior Championship Brendan Martin Cup. Some great moments that we will cherish for many years and this is only the start of things to come!” Ciarán Flynn, Meath GAA County P.R.O.
