There are seven finals down for decision in today’s LMFM Minor Football Tournament with the May Bank Holiday Monday now becoming home to one of the best days of underage football action in the county.
Six club venues play host to the games with Grangegodden hosting a double header. The other host venues are Ardcath, Bective, Dunsany, Paddy O’Brien Park and Sean Newman Park with games spread across the day. The first match throws in at 11:00 in Sean Newman Park with the seventh and final game commencing at 20:00 in Paddy O’Brien Park.
Group A – St. Colmcille’s v Seneschalstown – 12:00. Venue – Bective
Group B – Donaghmore/Ashbourne v St. Patrick’s – 16:00. Venue – Ardcath
There was no panel received for the final from St. Patrick’s.
Group C – Dundery v Moynalty/Carnaross – 18:00. Venue – Grangegodden
Group D – Round Towers v Ballovor – 20:00. Venue – Paddy O’Brien Park
Group E – Blackhall Gaels/Kilbride v Rathkenny/St. Mary’s – 15:00. Venue – Dunsany
Group F – Kilmainhamwood/Nobber/St. Michael’s v Moynalvey/Boardsmill – 18:30. Venue – Grangegodden
Group G – Slane v St. Peter’s Dunboyne – 11:00. Venue – Sean Newman Park
There was no panel received for the final from either Slane or St. Peter’s Dunboyne.
