We are pleased to inform you of an exciting employment opportunity as we are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified individual for the role of Operations Manager at Meath GAA.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the County Management Committee to develop and implement Meath GAA’s strategic vision, with a particular focus on commercial and financial aspects. This role will involve leading and managing the operations of Meath GAA to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the Association’s goals.
Location: Meath GAA County Offices
Reporting To: The Office of the Ard Stiúrthóir, with a secondary reporting line to the County Chairperson.

Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate a rolling five-year strategic plan for Meath GAA.
- Develop and execute a commercial development strategy, with annual revenue targets.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, tendering processes, and monthly variance reports.
- Oversee human resource management for non-coaching staff.
- Ensure effective fundraising efforts and grant applications are maximised.
- Support volunteer-led initiatives, particularly through the Finance Sub-Committee
Essential Criteria:
- An appropriate qualification with at least 5 years of management experience, or 6 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop marketing strategies and build strong relationships within the county.
