Having missed out in last week’s quarter final victory over Wexford, John Harkin returns to the side for this evening’s Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship semi-final. That is the sole change in personnel on the starting XV for the eagerly awaited last four encounter with Billy Smyth making way for the St. Peter’s Dunboyne youngster.
Braydon Colfer who has been excellent thus far continues in goals and he will have the repositioned CIan Duggan in front of him at right corner back while John Gormley and Naoise Maguire continue in their full back and corner back roles respectively. In the half back line Thomas Sheridan is flanked by Andrew Gormley and David Donnelly while the familiar centrefield pairing of Cian Commons and Michael McIvor continues. Eamon Armstrong captains the side from right half forward and he is joined in that line of attack by Oisín O’Neill and Pat Crawley. The inside forward line then consists of Cormac Liggan, Tom Lenehan and John Harkin.
