Greville unveils his first starting XV

Ahead of Saturday’s opening round game in the Allianz Hurling League, Johnny Greville has unveiled the starting XV which includes a number of returning faces.

Among those who are in the side but who weren’t in the mix for the 2024 season are full back Ben Holden, the Cole brothers Joey and Mikey Cole, Jack Regan and Cian Rogers.

Holden will man the edge of the square and he will be flanked by Jarlath Ennis and Domhnall Rogers with Daire Shine at centre back.  Manning the wing back berths are Simon Ennis who will captain the team for the day and James Cooke from the Kilskyre/Moylagh club who makes his debut.

Joey Cole and Kris Gorman make up the midfield pairing with Jack Regan at centre forward and Lorcan Byrne and Nicky Potterton on the wings.  The Ratoath duo of Seán Corbett and Cian Rogers are in the full forward line where they are joined by Mikey Cole.
