We are delighted to announce that Drumree GAA Club has been selected as the County Meath winner of the GAA Nursery Programme Equipment Giveaway!
As part of the national initiative to support the development of Gaelic Games Nurseries across Ireland, Drumree GAA Club will receive a Nursery Equipment Pack worth €1,000 to help deliver fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate sessions for our youngest players aged 4–6 years.
The equipment pack includes:
Bibs
Cones
Agility ladders
Hurdles
Boundary poles
Hula hoops
Ball bags
This award recognises the club’s commitment to providing a high-quality Nursery Programme and to ensuring volunteer coaches continue to develop through the new GAA Nursery Workshop. This workshop is certified for coaches working within the nursery.
Meath Coaching and Games through Participation Officers have been rolling out workshops in 11 clubs around the county so far this year. If your club wishes to avail of this workshop, the club coaching officer or Pathway Manager should contact Coaching and Games to arrange a date for your coaches.
