Following the completion of the draws for the knockout stages and relegation playoffs in the Fairyhouse Steel SFC and Meade Farm IFC this evening in Páirc Tailteann, the Competitions Control Committee (CCC) have released the knockout fixtures for all four first team championships.
Three of the Fairyhouse Steel SFC quarter finals will take place in Páirc Tailteann while the fourth, the repeat of last year’s quarter final between Ratoath and Dunshaughlin will take place under lights in Ashbourne on the Saturday night. That game is sure to bring a huge crowd to Ashbourne.
The attractive Meade Farm IFC quarter final meeting of the Navan clubs, O’Mahonys and Bective will take place in Simonstown on the Friday night and the meeting of Oldcastle and Ballivor will also take place on the Friday night, this one in Skryne. Páirc Tailteann will host the meeting of 2023 JFC winners Kilbride and Meath Hill in a game which pits sides from opposite ends of the county against each other and the fourth quarter final will see Castletown and Moynalvey meet in Dunshaughlin.
In the Balreask Bar, Restaurant Guest Accomodation JFC, Dunsany and Ballinlough meet in Cortown on the Friday night and St. Ultan’s and Clann na nGael will do battle on the Sunday in Kilmainham.
The Coolrite JBFC quarter finals sees eight of the nine teams in the competition in action and the fixtures have thrown up some interesting fixtures. Carnaross will meet Cortown, Moynalty will face Clonard, Kilmainhamwood and Boardsmill meet and the final fixture sees Drumconrath and St. Mary’s facing off.
