The first Championship Finals of the season take place on Saturday evening in Páirc Tailteann when the stadium plays host to a double header of Meath Cleaning Supplies sponsored Premier Football Championship Finals with the Division 9 decider throwing in at 18:00 and the Division 8 Final at 19:30.

The finals are all ticket and are priced as follows.

Tickets for all finals can be purchased via the Meath GAA App which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

The Division 9 Final sees St. Patrick’s and Carnaross meet in what promises to be a very intriguing encounter.  These sides finished in a tie at the top of the table with eight points apiece after five games along with Longwood but progressed to Saturday’s Final after they defeated Longwood and St. Mary’s respectively in their semi-finals.

When they met in the group stage of the Championship, it was St. Patrick’s who edged a close encounter when winning out by 2-11 to 1-13 in Stamullen on April 21.  Will they be able to repeat that success or will Carnaross be able to turn the tables now on neutral soil.

The Division 8 Final sees the protagonists from last years Balreask Bar & Restaurant Junior B Football Championship Final meet in another big match in Páirc Tailteann as St. Brigid’s and Slane meet once more.  Will it be the side from the north of the county who come out on top once more or will Slane who have been making massive strides in their juvenile ranks in recent seasons come away with the glory on Saturday evening?

Slane have carved an impressive path to Saturday’s game, picking up maximum points across the group stage of the competition before comfortably accounting for the challenge posed by Cortown in their semi-final encounter.  St. Brigid’s by contrast had more of a mixed campaign during the group stage as they picked up six points from the available ten but that was enough to see them finish in third place in the table and book their place in the semi-finals.  For that last four fixture they travelled to another club on the Cavan border (Kilmainhamwood), and turned in what was probably their best performance of the year to date when running out eleven point victors.
