Fabulous Friday of Hurling Championship Action in Store

As the weather heats up again, so too does the action in the Meath Club Hurling Championships with four games on the schedule this evening on the opening weekend.

There are two games on the cards in the Ted Murtagh Clothing & Footwear, Trim SHC and with the sponsor on the sideline in his role as a selector with Trim, can the perennial contenders get off to the perfect start against Na Fianna.

The second SHC game is a repeat of the recent Hurling League Division 1 Final and will Kiltale who took Ratoath to a replay in last years SHC Final manage to repeat their recent League Final victory over Kildalkey?

The Abbey Pharmacy Intermediate Hurling Championship will see St. Peter’s Dunboyne taking on Drumree in Ratoath.  St. Peter’s lost out to Rathmolyon a few weeks ago in their League Final but they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways here.

The Abbey Pharmacy Intermediate B Hurling Championship game features Boardsmill and Bhulf Tón CLG in Kilskyre.  Boardsmill are former kingpins of the Senior grade and will be looking to get their Championship season off on a positive footing but will face a tough test in the shape of the ‘Tones.
