There are a number of clubs hosting Darkness Into Light events on Saturday morning and we would encourage our members and supporters to support your local event.

Bective have a walk at 04:30 on the club grounds, with their new walking track sure to be busy.

Dunshaughlin are hosting an event at their clubhouse at 04:15 in association with Dunshaughlin Youths Football Club and Dunshaughlin Athletics Club.

Meath Hill are hosting an informal gathering at their pitch at 04:15.

Moynalvey are hosting an informal walk on the clubs walking track from 04:30.

Nobber are hosting a gathering at their clubhouse at 04:15 and donations can be made via the link: Nobber – Pieta House Fundraiser

Oldcastle are holding a walk on their walking track from 04:15 on Saturday morning.

St. Mary’s and St. Colmcille’s Dads & Lads are playing a game of football at 04:15 which is sure to be a great event.

They rise a little bit later in Ballinacree and St. Brigid’s are hosting a walk at 04:50 with a cup of tea and a chat afterwards in the clubhouse.

There is a walk taking place in Trim at 04:15 starting from the GAA Clubhouse

In East Meath, there is a walk along the beach in Laytown and Bettystown beach and while it’s not an event organised by St. Colmcille’s, they are proud supporters of it.
