The Brady’s Skoda Regional Football Championship gets underway this evening with two first round fixtures on the schedule. Reigning champions Boyne Valley take on the side they defeated in last years final, Tara, in Dunganny and Blackwater entertain An Tuascairt in Moynalty.
Note the change of venue for the Group A fixture which is now in Dunganny due to pitch availability.
Both of these sides are under new management this year with former U-20 and Minor manager John McCarthy taking over Boyne Valley and David Gallagher taking over the Tara reigns from his former St. Peter’s Dunboyne teammate Ger Robinson.
David Nolan once more takes charge of Blackwater and An Tuascairt are this year managed by Séamus Kenny who replaces Brian Farrell who pulled on the Bainisteoir bib in 2022.
