Healys return and Longwood man makes his debut

Meath welcome the already promoted Down to Trim on Saturday afternoon for the rescheduled Allianz Hurling League Division 2 Round 4 encounter and there are four changes to the starting line-up from the side which lost out to Derry a week ago.

Coming into the side are Martin Healy, Seán Coloe, Damien Healy and James Toher who replace Daire Shine, James Kelly, Darren O’Higgins and Cian Rogers.  The game marks the senior inter-county debut of Seán Coloe and the first starts of the season for Martin Healy & Damien Healy.

Simon Ennis who captained the side on the opening weekend of the League will once more lead the team out as the rotation of the captaincy continues.

Colm O’Riordan continues in goal and he will have a full back line of Jarlath Ennis, Martin Healy and Domhnall Rogers in front of him.  Seán Coloe replaces James Kelly at wing back, with the Longwood man forming a half back line along with Darragh Kelly and Kris Gorman.

Simon Ennis will be joined at midfield by the returning Damien Healy and the forward sextet sees just the one alteration with James Toher replacing Evan Fitzgerald at top of the left.  That means the half forward line of Nicky Potterton, Seán Quigley & Lorcan Byrne is unchanged.  Toher will join Mikey Cole and Jack Regan in the inside forward line.
