Paul Garrigan

I joined Meath GAA as Football Academy Head Coach in November 2022 having previously worked for Leinster GAA as a Games Development Administrator for 15 years.

In my role I am responsible for the football coaching programme of football development squads and associated players up to senior level to prepare players to perform at the highest level possible at senior inter county and/or adult level for their club/region.

The role includes helping to develop and continually review and update an overall coaching curriculum delivered to Meath GAA football players.

My role also involves mentoring management teams and facilitating coach learning to improve the standards of Meath GAA Football Academy players and coaches in a manner aligned with the goals of CLG, Coiste na Mí.

I have a MSc in Sports Coaching and have a Certificate in Leadership & Management (Gaelic Games). In addition to these I am a Leinster GAA Football Tutor and Coach Assessor.
