Four changes for trip to Ballycran

The long journey to Ballycran lies in store for our hurlers on Saturday as they look to bounce back to winning ways and they travel in the knowledge that a victory on Saturday could be enough to secure a place in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A semi-final.

Four players come into the starting XV from the side which lost out to Laois last weekend with the Na Fianna duo of Ronan Byrne and Ethan Devine both returning to the side and they are joined by William Gleeson from Clann na nGael and U-20 player Dómhnall Rogers.

Joint captain Charlie Ennis continues in goals with Seanie Geraghty, Shane Whitty and Ronan Byrne making up the full back line in front of him.  The Ennis brothers from Rathmolyon, Jarlath & Simon make up two thirds of the full back line where they are joined by Ethan Devine.

The midfield will see Kris Gorman and Nicky Potterton joining forces and there is a physically imposing look to the half forward line as Jack Walsh, James Toher and William Gleeson line up togehter for the first time.

The inside line is made up of Dómhnall Rogers, James Kelly and Padraig O’Hanrahan.
