After Ratoath got off to a winning start on Thursday evening in defence of their Fairyhouse Steel Senior Football Championship crown, we have seven more games to look forward to on Friday evening as action in the various football championships moves up a gear with games in three of the four grades to look forward to.

All fixtures on Friday evening have a 19:30 throw in time.

This evenings game is all ticket and are priced as follows.

There are three fixtures on the cards in the Fairyhouse Steel Senior Football Championship with the meeting of near neighbours Wolfe Tones and Gaeil Colmcille potentially being the pick of the lot. Wolfe Tones claimed the Keegan Cup in 2021 while Gaeil Colmcille have been perennial contenders over recent seasons but haven/t managed to as of yet take that final step and secure the famous trophy.

In the Meade Farm sponsored Intermediate Football Championship, there is a single fixture down to be played but it could well prove to be a clinker in Duleek as Bective who are managed by David Nolan find themselves up against St. Patrick’s who are riding a crest of a wave having recently won the Division 2A League title as well as two Premier Championships.

It is an action-packed evening in the Coolrite Junior B Football Championship with three games to look forward to. St. Mary’s will have been very disappointed to lose out to Kilmainhamwood a fortnight ago and they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways against Drumconrath. Clonard are likewise on a retrieval mission having come up short against Drumconrath but they will be up against it when meeting free scoring Cortown who shot the lights out against Eastern Gaels in Round 1. The concluding fixture sees Carnaross and Boardsmill meet in Kildalkey.
