The development works in Meath GAA continues apace and on Friday last, June 23, there was a gathering at the Centre of Excellence in Dunganny for the official sod turning for the three new pitches which will be situated on the Navan side of the grounds.
We were delighted to welcome Minister for Sport Thomas Byrne TD and Minister for Justice Helen McEntee TD to Dunganny along with fellow members of the Oireachtas Damien English, Johnny Guirke and Shane Cassells to the Centre of Excellence for the event.

Also present were a large gathering of local councillors including Meath County Council Chairman Tommy Reilly and Vice Chair Paul McCabe.
The work is being carried out by Tony Patterson Sportsgrounds who have over one hundred years experience in the trade.
