Ahead of Saturday evening’s Tailteann Cup opening round fixture against Tipperary in Páirc Tailteann, Colm O’Rourke has made five changes in personnel from the side which was defeated by Offaly in the Leinster SFC quarter final on April 23.

Coming back into the side are Ronan Jones and Jack O’Connor while Seán Brennan and Aaron Lynch make their Championship debuts.  Fresh off the back of an impressive season with the U-20 side, Conor Gray will come in to partner Jones at midfield for his inaugural appearance in a senior jersey for the county. They come into the side in place of Harry Hogan, Daithí McGowan, Cathal Hickey, Keith Curtis and Donal Lenihan who all revert to the replacements bench.
