The Minor Committee have confirmed the fixture details for the finals of the LMFM Minor Football Tournament with all finals down for decision next Monday, May 1. The games are spread across the day with the first match throwing in at 11:00 and the seventh and final game slated for a 20:00 throw in.
Tickets for all the finals will be available to purchase via the new Meath GAA App in the coming days and will be priced at €5 per person with children U-16 accompanied by an adult attending for free.
In Group A, it is a repeat of the O’Reilly & Co. Solicitors U-15 Football League Final from 2021 when St. Colmcille’s and Seneschalstown meet in Bective.
The Group B decider takes place in Ardcath and it features Donaghmore/Ashbourne who are going for the two in a row and they will face St. Patrick’s.
Grangegodden will play host to a double header with the Group C decider between Dunderry and Moynalty/Carnaross decider commencing half an hour before the Group F Final between Kilmainhamwood/Nobber/St. Michael’s or Ratoath and Moynalvey/Boardsmill. The Kilmainhamwood/Nobber/St. Michael’s v Ratoath semi-final takes place on Thursday evening.
Round Towers and Ballivor will meet in the Group D Final in Paddy O’Brien Park.
The Group E decider will see two Independent Teams facing off in Dunsany as Blackhall Gaels/Kilbride will take on Rathkenny/St. Mary’s. Interestingly, in 2022 we saw a final in this competition between Rathkenny and St. Mary’s.
The Group G Final between Slane and St. Peter’s Dunboyne will take place in Sean Newman Park.
