Meath face a short journey to DEFY Páirc Mhuire, Ardee this evening (Wednesday) for the third and final group game in the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship with a place in the knockout stage of the competition already secured but knowing a victory would see them progress direct to the quarter finals while any other result would see them facing into a preliminary quarter final.
In advance of the game, Stephen Morgan and his selectors have rung the changes from the side which started against Dublin with five changes in personnel for this encounter.
Coming into the team from the outset of the game are Billy Smyth, David Donnelly, John Gormley, Michael McIvor and Naoise Maguire. Gormley will man the edge of the square at full back with Maguire lining up alongside him at left corner back. The left flank of the defence is completely revamped as Donnelly comes in at left half back. McIvor comes in to play in his regular midfield position while Smyth lines out at full forward.
