Ahead of Saturday’s opening round game of the Allianz Hurling League against Wicklow, Seoirse Bulfin has unveiled the panel which will make up the twenty six who take to the field in Páirc Tailteann.
The experienced James Toher comes back into the side to anchor the defence at centre back with James Kelly who wore the number six jersey last week against Kildare reverting to wing back. They are joined in the half back line by League debutant Kyle Donnelly. At midfield, Pa Ryan assumes his usual berth and he is partnered by Nicky Potterton who switches outfield from the corner forward berth he lined out in against Kildare a week previously.
Up front Damien Healy leads the attack from centre forward while Sean Quigley, Éamon Óg Ó Donnchadha and Padraig O’Hanrahan form a potent full forward line.
