There is probably not too much about the GAA that Seamus Kenny hasn’t had a hand in.
Player. Coach. Club officer. Manager. GAA staff member. And now Company Secretary of Páirc Tailteann C.L.G.
Seamus is the National Participation and Programmes Manager for the GAA, but his experience extends well beyond his current role. Before working with the GAA, he worked in construction and business.
He is also a former Meath player, so Páirc Tailteann is a place he knows from the other side of the pitch too.
Seamus is a member of Simonstown Gaels GFC, where he is currently the Club Coaching Officer and Football Chairperson. He also manages the club’s U19 team.
When the Páirc Tailteann project moved from the early stages of planning towards becoming a company, Seamus was there too. He was involved with Noel Dempsey and Liam Mulvihill in the feasibility study and the early preparation of the planning and design work and is a founding member of Páirc Tailteann C.L.G., where he now serves as Company Secretary.
And if that list of roles wasn’t enough, Seamus has also continued his education with an Masters in Business Studies (MBS), along with qualifications in Agile Project Management and Sports Law.
From playing for Meath to coaching and managing at club level, working with the GAA nationally and now serving as Company Secretary of Páirc Tailteann C.L.G., Seamus brings a broad range of experience to the project.
