Division 2 of the Allianz Football League heats up this weekend as the action moves into the second half of the campaign and Meath have the short journey to Newbridge for a meeting with Kildare at 19:00 in Round 5.
Despite losing out to top of the table Cork last weekend, Robbie Brennan and his management team have kept the faith with the fifteen that started in Páirc Uí Rinn, with the only change on the panel coming among the replacements as Charlie O’Connor comes in to replace Diarmuid Moriarty.

Having returned to the side for the opening round of the League, Seán Brennan continues his run of being selected between the uprights and after coming into the side as a late addition for the game against Cork, Ronan Ryan will once more line out on the edge of the square at full back. He will be flanked by the experienced Seamus Lavin at right corner back and Brian O’Halloran at left corner back.
The settled nature in selection of the half back line continues with Donal Keogan, Seán Coffey and Ciaran Caulfield lining out together for the fifth week of Allianz League action in succession.
The settled nature of the team selection continues at midfield where Bryan Menton and Jack Flynn are once paired together as they have been for each Allianz League game to date of Robbie Brennan’s time as Meath manager.
Ruairí Kinsella who kicked three points from play last week will lead the attack from centre forward and the Maynooth University student will be joined in the half forward line by Cian McBride and Conor Duke.
Team captain Eoghan Frayne lines out on the edge of the square and he will once more be partnered in the inside line of the attack by Jordan Morris and Aaron Lynch.
Charlie O’Connor who dropped out of the match day panel late on against Cork to be replaced by Diarmuid Moriarty will replace Moriarty among the substitutes.
Ronan Ryan is in line to make his 60th appearance in the Meath jersey on Saturday when he lines out at full back.
