After the narrow defeat to Westmeath a fortnight ago, Meath have opted to go with minimal changes for the Allianz Hurling League Division 2 Round 4 meeting with Derry on Sunday in St. Loman’s Park, Trim as Tom Shine, who missed the game in Mullingar, returns to the side in the only alteration to the starting XV.
Shine will come back into the side at right half forward as an indirect replacement for Cathal Barron who will take his place among the replacements. The resultant reshuffle sees Noah Conroy push back to the half back line.

- Student/OAP – €8
- Children U-16 – Free
With continuity being the order of the day when it comes to team selection there is more of the same when it comes to the goalkeeper position and the full back line. Gavin King will once more line out in goals and he will have Conor Leavy, team captain Daire Shine and Jarlath Ennis in front of him in the full back line.
Noah Conroy who reverts to the half back line will line out at right half back, with Sean Geraghty manning the left half back position as Simon Ennis will once more hold down the centre back berth.
Eoin Donegan and Joey Cole who were paired together at midfield against Westmeath will once more link up in the engine room with Tom Shine, Lorcan Byrne and Mark Leavy forming the half forward line.
Damien Healy once more lines out on the edge of the square at full forward and he has Mikey Cole and Darren O’Higgins lining out beside him in the corner forward positions.
Among the replacements, Kyle Ennis comes in wearing the no. 26 jersey.
