Greville opts for minimal change

Ahead of Sunday’s Dioralyte Kehoe Cup Round 3 game against Wicklow in Dunganny, Meath have opted for continuity in team selection with thirteen of the side that started against Down last weekend once more selected to start.

The two players to come into the starting line-up are the Kilmessan duo of Noah Conroy and Lorcan Byrne who come in at left half back and midfield in place of Kyle Donnelly and Joey Cole, with Cole reverting to the replacements bench.

Philip O’Brien who lined out between the uprights for the first half last weekend will once more don the no.1 jersey and he will have the same full back line in front of him as Conor Leavy, Daire Shine and Jarlath Ennis once more link up.

Darragh Heffernan from Trim and Noah Conroy will man the wing back berths and they will have the experienced Simon Ennis inside them to anchor the defensive effort at centre back.

Tom Shine missed the 2025 inter-county season through injury but made his return last weekend and he will be partnered by Lorcan Byrne.

Damien Healy who was a late addition to the starting XV against Down will once more line out at right half forward and he forms one half of a big, physical presence on the wings as Eoin Donegan of Bhulf Tón dons the no.12 jersey.  Mikey Cole leads the attack from centre forward.

Sean Doyle lines out on the edge of the square and he will have young flyers Darren O’Higgins and Mark Leavy alongside him in the corners.
