Meath
G.A.A. Supporters Club
Paddy Weldon
The supporters club would like to sympathize with the Weldon Family from Ballygortha, Summerhill on the sudden and sad loss of Paddy, a great husband, father and gael.
Paddy sadly passed away on Tuesday last 29 June he was a great follower of Meath football and in particular the Meath senior Team, he was in Cavan to see Meath beat Louth. For over sixty years Paddy followed the Meath team to all corners of the country and hardly missed a match during this time in fact during his younger years Paddy would cycle the 11 miles to Maynooth from his home in Ballygortha to catch a bus or train to watch Meath in croke park. When his son David was old enough he joined Paddy in his travels following the Meath team.
To his wife Margaret son David and daughter Christine we wish to extend our deepest sympathy.
