Speaking at Today’s Launch, Colm Cooper, Lucozade Sport Ambassador and All-Star Kerry forward said: “It’s brilliant to see Lucozade Sport continuing to invest in the grassroots clubs and sports people around Ireland by giving something useful back. Sports clubs continue to struggle to raise much needed funds to gather the right equipment for training and matches and this initiative from Lucozade Sport offers a really simple solution to getting kit.”

Laura Kavanagh, Brand Manager, Lucozade Sport also added: “We’re really excited about kicking off our Lucozade Sport Kit Out Project. We have listened to sportspeople and clubs all around the country following the success of our previous kit collection initiative and our aim this year is to make it even easier for our consumers to Get Kit this year. Not only are we working with clubs, we are also hoping to engage with individual sports people who can get their own training kit via our website by entering the codes from our bottles.”

Clubs or individual sportspeople can register on the Lucozade Sport website to start inputting promotion codes from today.

Meath Coaching and Games are running an Open Day for our Football Development Squads this Saturday morning in Pairc Tailteann from 9:30am to 1pm. Alot of work has gone into the development squads programme this year and we would like to invite anyone interested to come along and see what is being done with these age-groups.

The schedule for the morning is as follows:
We will have 2 groups of U14`s in from 9:30-10:10 & 10:20-11:00 on the back pitch. These groups will undergo an age appropriate introduction to Movement Competency and Strength & Conditioning, these sessions will be performed under the guidance of Paul Clarke.
We are hoping that club coaches will come in and view these sessions and will implement similar sessions with their own teams.

The U15`s and U16`s will be in from 11-12. They will also do some pitch based Strength & Conditioning followed by coaching sessions by current and past Meath footballers.

The U17`s will be in the gym in Aras Tailteann from 11-12.

The 15`s,16`s and 17`s will have a talk from a guest speaker from 12:15-12:40 in the main room in the Aras.

We hope to see a good crowd there on the day.
